Brief Profile

Dr. Ritesh Saxena is a PhD. in Business Studies with over 17 years’ experience in teaching and research in the area of applied Information Technology. He has also worked in corporate for 2 years in Software Development. Dr Saxena has contributed research papers in conference and journals of national and international repute. He has contributed two Blocks comprising of 4 different units on Information Technology and E-Commerce in a Self-Learning Material of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. He authored a Book on Information Technology for NMIMS University, Mumbai. Dr. Ritesh has also authored Case Studies on IT strategies of an IT Company and Success Story of Gujarat Tourism Corporation, Govt. of Gujarat.

He is actively involved in teaching and consultancy projects in different management areas, He has also developed the National Occupational Standard of Computer and IT Skills for entry level manages. Ritesh has done a number of trainings for IT Skills under IT and ITeS Sector Skills Council (NASSCOM). He has conducted Awareness and Training programmes for MSMEs’ on “Zero Effect Zero Defect” (ZED) Model as a certified ZED Trainer. He has worked as an active team member in the research studies/Projects funded by the agencies like Govt. of India and USAID etc.

Currently, he is Professor (IT) and the Controller of Examinations at AIMA-Centre for Management Education handling the examinations for AICTE approved Post graduate diploma and certificates programs at PAN India level. He is also actively involved in various Skill Development initiatives of CME. He also act as a Programme Director for PGDITM (Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology Management) programme, a 2 year programme approved by the AICTE in ODL (Open and Distance Learning) Mode.

He was previously associated with IILM Graduate School of Management, a reputed B-School in NCR Delhi as Assistant Professor (IT) & Head, IT.
