The programme cycles will be generally as under:
The term-end examinations will be held twice in a year in June and December. The schedule of examination will be intimated to the students accordingly.
Activities in each module :
Student Registration in Module I
Upon registration every student will be allotted a unique Registration number, which is a combination of programme code (course code), year and session of admission and a unique serial number (control no.). For eg: B11120010 can be decoded as

Re-registered student will be entitled to get two more attempts in examination and assignments.
For the third attempt, examination fee of Rs. 500 per paper shall be payable.
(Not Applicable to Capsule Courses / Ph.D Students)
In case the proof of graduation (i.e. attested copy of final year mark sheet / graduation degree certificate) and / or MAT score card is not furnished with the admission form, provisional admission in Module-I will be granted, which will be confirmed upon submission of the same.
Provisionally admitted students in Module-I will be required to submit proof of graduation / Experience certificate(s) / MAT score card to Manager-Admissions, at AIMA-CME, New Delhi, on or before May 31 for January session & November 30 for July Session failing which provisionally admitted student(s) will not be permitted to appear in term end examination and he/she will by default be deferred to the next immediate session.
Assignments (if done / submitted) and class participation will be considered void in case of provisionally admitted students for the deferred session.
Admission of such students will stand cancelled if they fail to provide the required documents by the prescribed timelines for submission in the next immediate session.
In case a provisionally admitted student fails to submit the required documents even in two subsequent sessions after registration in the programme, refund/adjustment of fee will not be applicable.
For Advanced Certificate Programme Students
If Advanced Certificate Programme students are unable to submit the graduation proof at the time of admission or within the prescribed deadlines, their admission will be deferred and the certificate will not be issued. The assignments and / or case studies submitted in the deferred academic session will remain valid only in case of ACM students.
Progression to Next Module
(Applicable to PGDM / PGDITM / Ph.D / Select PGCM programme)
The Progression to next module will be registered on submission of progression form and the prescribed fee for the module to Manager-Admissions, AIMA-CME.
Progression to next module is an administrative requirement of AIMA-CME.

Progression to Module-III will be provisional for students having backlog papers in Module-I and will be confirmed subject to clearance of Module-I with minimum MGPA of 2.67.
Progression to Module-IV will be provisional for students having backlog papers in Module-II and will be confirmed subject to clearance of Module-II with minimum MGPA of 2.67.
If a student is seeking provisional progression, he/she can attend PCPs and submit assignments but will not be allowed to appear in the term end Module examination. However, on declaration of the result of previous module, if criteria mentioned in (a) or (b) is fulfilled, the provisional progression will be confirmed and he/she will be permitted to appear in term end Module examination.
(Not applicable to select PGCM programmes & Ph.D)
Re-registration for fourth attempt in term-end examination
Registration to a course (Subject/Paper) is valid for a period of one and a half years from the date of registration to the module of which the course is a part.
If a student of PGDM/ PGDITM/ PGCM / Ph.D is unable to clear a paper within three consecutive attempts, he/she will have to re-register on payment of Rs. 2000/- per paper.
Re-registered student will be entitled to get two more attempts in examination and assignments.
For the third attempt, examination fee of Rs. 500 per paper shall be payable.
Re-registration will remain valid for a further period of one year and six months (three consecutive attempts).
An attempt will be counted even if the student does not appear for the examination within the registration period.
Last date for applying for Re-registration is December 1 for appearing in December term-End Examinations and June 1 for appearing in June Term-End Examinations.
Maximum Time to complete a Programme
Re-registration is subject to the fulfillment of the condition that a Post Graduate Diploma Programme must be completed within six years from the session of registration to the programme and one year Post Graduate Certificate programmes must be completed within three years of registration to the programme. Foundation programme of Ph.D must be completed within three years of registration to the programme. Failure to meet the maximum time limit to complete the programme would lead to cancellation of registration to the programme.
